The random picture of Robbie Williams is for my benefit......a very sad day for Chic Mama. I thought he was saving himself for me, alas he has proposed to someone else. He really doesn't know what he is missing. ;0)
It's been a hell of a week....very up and down. I am now officially burying my head in the sand and have gone on strike where legalities are concerned.
I have a lovely weekend to look forward to and I'm going to try not to think of all the crap that's going on for a few days. Nothing can happen over the weekend, so I am going to treat myself with a weekend of mental harmony!
Not quite sure what that it is yet but it sounds good. Hehe.
It's got really cold today, so hopefully that will start killing all the horrible germs that seem to be flying around the local area at the moment.
Here goes, my Friday list of gratitude, lest you all think I am wallowing in too much self pity. ;0)
1. It's cold...with that comes hot water bottles, or in my case a lavender bag that heats up in the microwave. Keeps the toes warm and they are always cold.
2. In between the constant rain there have been a few spells of sun, you appreciate it more when it barely ever shows itself.
3. Child benefit ( always needed by the end of the month )
4. A night without any children to be responsible for to look forward to. That equals letting my hair down.
5. Cava- you can almost pretend it's champagne and at half the price!
6. A girly lunch on Sunday. That is soooo unheard of. Yay!!
7. Grandparents, for last minute childcare.
8. Friends for organising the night out.
9. A day to sort out presents which is needed desperately as they are hidden all over the house and I haven't a clue what I've got or if I've left anyone out.
10. Lastly for getting a reprieve on Wednesday which gives me more time to accept the inevitable.

It certainly sounds like lovely weekend & you deserve it-enjoy every minute! X
Robbie's a fool !!!
That's right! Treat the whole damn thing as if it were a job. Go back to it on Monday morning, after a relaxing weekend off.
Nil carborundum...
Sounds lovely - can I come over to yours?
sounds great !
Lovely list, I hope your weekend has been fun so far. I have not been around recently and am wondering what happened Wednesday, but I am tired now, so will have to come back another time :)
Thank you for your concerned comment at mine, it s lovely to know that people care, even if one has never met them
X
I've always liked Robbie, think he is a bit unpredictable though. Hope your weekend was as stress-free as you hoped (I'm writing this in Sunday evening!)x
Hope you had a great weekend!
Chic Mama,
I love Robbie Williams, too. He is all I have been listening to lately.
At least this chick he's marrying seems to calm him down some. I hope she's good for him.
His lifestyle has been worrying at times.
He is such a doll.
Sending love,
SB
